SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed about the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA status sassa will mobilise a lot more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
